It is a lymphoproliferative disease of chickens. It is characterized by mononuclear cell infiltration in single or multiple tissues and organs of the skin. This disease is an infectious tumor disease caused by cell-associated herpes virus, which leads to the formation of tumors in the above-mentioned organs and tissues. Pinciple

The Mareks Merricks Disease Antigen Rapid test Kit is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic analysis. The test equipment has a test window for observing the test run and result readings. Before running the test, the test window has an invisible T (test) area and C (control) area. When the processed sample is applied to the sample well on the device, the liquid will flow laterally across the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated monoclonal antibody. If there is MDV antigen in the specimen, a clear T line will appear. The C line should always appear after applying the sample, which indicates a valid result. In this way, the device can accurately display the presence of MDV antigen in the specimen.

Strage and stablity

The kit can be stored at room temperature (2-30°C). The test kit is stable through the expiration date (18 months) marked on the package label. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not store the test kit in direct sunlight.

Test Procedure

Collect cattle’s fresh whole blood, and get the serum or plasma specimen for use. Immediately apply the testing once collected the specimen.

Take out the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
Place 2-3 drop (around 70-100uL) of serum or plasma specimen into the sample hole. Start timer and wait for result.
Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 15 minutes is considered as invalid.
