The Fiv Felv Heartworm Fcov rapid test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of feline immunodeficiency virus antibody (FIV Ab), feline leukemia virus antigen (FeLV Ag), feline Coronavirus antibody (FCoV Ab) and Heartworm antigen (CHW Ag) in cat’s serum, plasma and whole blood specimen. Assay Time: 5-10 minutes

Principle
The Fiv Felv Heartworm Fcov Rapid test is based on sandwich method lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test card has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay. When the treated sample was applied into each sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of each test strip and react with the pre-coated FIV recombinant antigens, FeLV antibodies, FCoV recombinant antigens and Heartworm antibodies respectively. If there are FIV antibodies, FeLV antigens, FCoV antibodies and Heartworm antigens in the specimen, a visible T line will appear in the corresponding window. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result. By this means, the device can accurately indicate the presence of FIV antibodies, FeLV antigens, FCoV antibodies and Heartworm antigens in the specimen.
Strage and stablity
The kit can be stored at room temperature (2-30°C). The test kit is stable through the expiration date (18 months) marked on the package label. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not store the test kit in direct sunlight.

Test Procedure
-Allow all materials, including specimen and test device, recover to 15-25℃ before running the assay.
-Take out the test card from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
-Collect 50μL of the prepared specimen into a vial of FIV-FeLV-CHW assay buffer and mix well. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 120μL) of the diluted sample into each sample hole “S” of the test card, respectfully corresponding to the windows FIV, FeLV, CHW. Start the timer.
-Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered as invalid.
-Collect 20μL of the prepared specimen into a vial of FCoV Ab assay buffer and mix well. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 120μL) of the diluted sample into the sample hole “S” of the test card, corresponding to the windows FCoV. Start the timer.
-Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered as invalid.
INTERPRETATION OF ASSAY RESULT
- Positive (+): Whether the T line is clear or fuzzy, the "C" line and the region "T" line are present.
- Negative (-): Shows only the sharp C line. No T line.
- Invalid: no color lines in zone C. Whether the T line appears or not.
